CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate and heal from the complexities of eating disorders, trauma, OCD, and anxiety. Brooke's clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including residential treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), where she worked extensively with adults and young adults facing these challenges.

In her practice, Brooke specializes in treating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, body image concerns, and self-esteem issues. Brooke also supports clients through critical periods of identity development and personal growth. Brooke's therapeutic approach is integrative, utilizing techniques from DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and drawing on principles from HAES (Health at Every Size) and a weight-neutral perspective. Brooke believes that therapy should be individualized for each person and works to create a space that is as unique as the clients she serves.
BROOKE'S APPROACH:
Brooke's approach is grounded in humor, irreverence, and compassion, recognizing that healing can often benefit from lightness, honesty, and genuine connection. Having experienced her own journey of eating disorder recovery, Brooke brings a deeply empathetic perspective to her work, particularly in helping clients not only recover from eating disorders but also challenge the harmful narratives of diet culture. Brooke uses evidence-based practices such as DBT, ACT, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), DBT-PE (DBT Prolonged Exposure) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to guide clients in building resilience, improving self-regulation, and fostering a healthier relationship with themselves.

Brooke primarily works with young adults and adults as they navigate the challenges of developing a positive relationship with themselves, managing anxiety, and overcoming perfectionistic tendencies. Brooke's goal is to support you in cultivating self-awareness, fostering self-acceptance, and reclaiming your sense of identity—all in a safe, nonjudgmental environment that promotes lasting, meaningful change.
