MARY'S APPROACH:

Mary, a registered dietitian with over a decade of experience specializing in eating disorder treatment, brings a distinctive and compassionate approach to her work. Her journey began in a psychiatric hospital’s eating disorder program, where she was challenged to rethink traditional, weight-centric nutrition practices and embrace the Health At Every Size paradigm and weight-inclusive care.

Mary’s approach is both empathetic and straightforward. She recognizes the challenges of moving away from unrealistic societal expectations around food and weight. Her goal is to help clients unravel and challenge long-standing food rules, guiding them toward a more intuitive and body-honoring relationship with food.

Mary skillfully supports clients in recognizing how their food behaviors may be limiting their ability to live authentically. She relies on the latest research to illuminate the complex role of food in human biochemistry, meeting clients where they are in their relationship with food. Her passion lies in helping individuals define health for themselves—mentally, physically, and spiritually—while honoring their unique experiences and needs.
