Teresa Romano, MS, RD/LDN, CEDRD, SPN

Teresa (she/her) is a registered eating disorder dietitian specializing in helping clients rediscover a healthy and balanced relationship with food.

TERESA'S APPROACH

Teresa is a seasoned expert in the eating disorder field, with years of experience working with adults and adolescents in various settings, from hospitals to private practice. Teresa practices with a trauma informed, weight inclusive, non-diet and food neutral approach. Teresa uses a blend of conventional and integrative approaches to support eating disorder recovery with mind, body and spirit. Teresa’s love for nutrition is rooted in the belief that food is so much more than fuel—it’s about connection, comfort, and community. Her passion for this work is based on helping others heal their relationship with food and embrace the beauty in uniqueness and diversity. She’s on a mission to dismantle diet culture, debunk nutrition myths, and create a welcoming, weight-inclusive space where food is celebrated, not feared. Teresa teaches gentle nutrition, encourages the joy of eating, and honors the cultural roots that make us unique. When she’s not working, you’ll find her digging in her garden, spending time outside with her dog, Garbanzo, or enjoying quality time with her loved ones.
